The Fort Smith F.O.P. supports many projects and activities designed to foster community involvement; charitable activities; aid families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty; assist officers who are injured, sick, or in distress; and honor the men and women of law enforcement.

Some of the programs we support include Cops & Kids at Christmas, Arkansas Special Olympics, Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club, Police Officer Memorial Services, and Higher Education Scholarships. The Fort Smith Fraternal Order of Police is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Arkansas. It has received a tax-exempt status as a public charity from the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501c(8) of the IRS code.
